GCL-Poly signs strategic cooperative letters of intent with Winsun New Energy and Shunfeng Photovoltaic

(21 May 2012, Hong Kong) GCL-Poly Investment Co., Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Limited (“GCL-Poly”, “the Group”, stock code: 3800.HK), signed strategic cooperative letters of intent (“LOI”) with Winsun New Energy Co., Ltd (“Winsun New Energy”) and Jiangsu Shunfeng Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd (“Shunfeng Photovoltaic”). Mr Zhu Gongshan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GCL-Poly, Mr Mo Weihua, Chairman and General Manager of Winsun New Energy and Mr Gao Zhoumiao, CEO and other leaders of Shunfeng Photovoltaic, attended the signing ceremony.

 
Pursuant to the LOI, GCL-Poly will co-develop and construct solar farms with Winsun New Energy and Shunfeng Photovoltaic in Europe and other designated regions agreed with the other two parties. At the same time, GCL-Poly will provide the other parties with long-term and stable supply of silicon materials, wafers and system integration products. Based on this cooperation, all parties will deepen their overall strategic cooperation in the solar value chain.
 
The friendly cooperation of GCL-Poly with Winsun New Energy and Shunfeng Photovoltaic will enable all parties to have comparative advantage, strengthen further their respective core competitiveness in the photovoltaic areas and achieve a win-win situation.
