GCL Chairman Zhu Gongshan Advocates Int’l Energy Cooperation at 2017 China New Energy Leadership Conference in Suzhou

Zhu Gongshan, Chairman of Golden Concord Group Limited (GCL) , when speaking at 2017 China New Energy Leadership Conference in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province on Monday, called for all the energy enterprises home and abroad to join together to promote international energy cooperation, establish global energy industry network covering trade, investment, production and service, enhance international economic cooperation and advantages, and establish a “smooth route” for energy green transfer, as Chinese energy enterprises entering the oversea market, especially in the background of Belt and Road Initiative.
Zhu has been elected Chairman of the Global Solar Council (GSC), the world's largest cooperation platform in the photovoltaics (PV) industry. Zhu will lead the Council as Chairman formally starting from January 2018. Zhu is also Chairman of China New Energy Oversea Alliance.
Zhu urged for more efforts in innovation and cooperation for the whole new energy industry as he said that it is a starting point for all development now in China to hold new thoughts for a new era, including for the new energy industry.
As Xi Jinping has pointed in report at the opening of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, China will develop new ways of making outbound investments, promote international cooperation on production capacity, form globally-oriented networks of trade, investment and financing, production, and services, and build up our strengths for international economic cooperation and competition. Zhu considered it great opportunity for energy industry, especially as Chinese energy enterprises have been constructing projects in countries and regions along the belt and road.
Zhu has strong confidence in Belt and Road Initiative. According to Zhu, GCL has made contributions in promoting projects of power supply, technology transport, and fundamental construction all over the world, echoing Belt and Road Initiative and will continue to explore more.
