As well as being highly viewed and favored by investment institutions, industrial markets and industrial chain partners, GCL FBR granular silicon has won incredible recognitions from the pertinent local governments. On November 10th, the news came out through media that GCL Xuzhou base has reached a total production capacity of 30,000 tons with its 20,000-tons granular silicon modular project put into production. This attracted the immediate attention of the main granular silicon base camps. Immediately, Leshan Municipal Government of Sichuan Province, Baotou Municipal Government of Inner Mongolia, and the Administration Committee of Jiangsu Xuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone sent letters respectively to congratulate GCL for entering a new reproducible era of systematization, standardization, digitization, integration, intelligence, and modularization, forming a tripod structure with its three pillaring industries.

Right in line with the big theme of “dual carbon”, granular silicon, small in size, is now a rising star not only in the eyes of the industry and capital market, but also a big hit in the local governments’ development in regard with emerging industries of strategic importance. The cutting-edge FBR granular silicon is GCL’s “Excalibur” sharpened by constant research and development over a decade. With the merits of low investment, low cost, low carbon emission, high efficiency, and independent intellectual property rights, FBR granular silicon is heading up the trend under the "dual carbon" goals.

This is GCL Group’s first 20,000-ton modular granular silicon project. Starting from February 2021, it took 9 months for the project to be constructed and put into production. It marks GCL’s first realization of modular construction and production in terms of process flow, complete equipment, engineering installation, material balance, and structures. It will serve as the blueprint for future projects.

GCL is currently constructing 3 FBR granular silicon production bases as planned, one 100,000-ton base in Xuzhou, one 100,000-ton base in Leshan, and the third a 300,000-ton base in Baotou. The established project has laid a solid foundation for the realization of "systematization, standardization, digitization, integration, intelligence, and modularization" for the three bases under construction, and is expected to boost the projects construction progress and has raised the bar for projects quality.

It’s no doubt that the significance of the project is far beyond itself, but also to empower future projects.

Its unique technology, its low cost and carbon footprint merits, these are the reasons that FBR granular silicon has becoming more and more eye-catching and widely considered in regard to ecological developments by local governments.
